The 2024 Swing for Certification Golf Tournament is set for Monday, June 3, 2024 at Los Verdes Golf Club located at 7000 Los Verdes Drive, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275, preceding the NRF Protect Conference.
Hosted by the Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF),
Swing for Certification is open to all retailers and to LPF solution provider sponsors.
Proceeds generated by the golf tournament benefit the Bob MacLea Scholarship Fund for loss prevention and asset protection professionals who want to advance their careers through LPQ or LPC certification. Raffle* and Super Ticket proceeds also benefit the Loss Prevention Benevolent Fund.

The Bob MacLea Memorial Scholarship Fund was created in remembrance of Bob’s outstanding contribution to the Loss Prevention and Asset Protection Industry, The annual 'Swing for Certification' Golf Tournament raises funds for LP/AP professionals seeking to continue their professional development. Scholarships are available to cover the cost of the LPCertified or LPQualified online course and are awarded each year following Swing for Certification.
The Loss Prevention Benevolent Fund provides financial assistance to the families of asset protection professionals who are seriously injured or killed while performing the duties of their jobs. One hundred percent of contributions to the LPBF go directly to the retail asset protection community.
